A risk/action model for the differentiations of R and D profiles

Within highly technological industries a separation, by departments, of the research and development functions is common. Yet, in often inappropriate ways, the phrase “R&D” is used not merely to link the two functions, but rather to minimize differences, and describe the functions as a single operational entity.
