Communications: Advanced microwave circuits: Computer-aided design and innovative physical configurations help increase performance and reduce costs

New developments in microwave circuitry are expected to meet future systems requirements for increased RF power, higher frequencies, wider bandwidth, lower noise levels, and smaller highdensity packaging at lower cost. Advanced microwavecircuitryis slated for use in diverse areas such as satellite communications, navigational equipment for ships, radar systems, and phasedarray modules for information transfer systems.
