ARES Workshops: Welcome Message from the ARES Workshop Co-Chairs

The workshops are central events for the Seventh International Conference on Availability, Reliability (ARES) as they provide an essential platform for researchers of various domains to present and discuss their current work and discuss work in progress. This year we can offer the conference attendees 8 workshops which range from "start-ups" to well-established ones supporting ARES the sixth year. The succeeding listing comprises the workshops of ARES 2012 (in alphabetical order): 1. FARES 2012 - 7th International Workshop on Frontiers in Availability, Reliability and Security. 2. IWSMA 2012 - 1st International Workshop on Security of Mobile Applications. 3. MoCrySEn 2012 - 1st International Workshop on Modern Cryptography and Security Engineering. 4. OSA 2012 - 4th International Workshop on Organizational Security Aspects. 5. RISI 2012 - 2nd International Workshop on Resilience and IT-Risk in Social Infrastructures. 6. SecOnT 2012 - 1st International Workshop on Security Ontologies and Taxonomies. 7. SecSE 2012 - 6th International Workshop on Secure Software Engineering. 8. WSDF 2012 - 5th International Workshop on Digital Forensics. These workshops are organized each on specific topics and thus offer researchers the opportunity to learn from a rich multi-disciplinary experience. The Workshop Chairs thank the workshop organizers for their great efforts and hard work in proposing the workshop, selecting the papers, the interesting programs and for the arrangements of the workshops during the conference days.
