Phase-matched microstrip waveguides for generation and coherent detection of broadband terahertz radiation

We describe novel waveguide devices allowing for single-mode propagation of optical pump and probe beams and broadband THz radiation. We demonstrate generation and coherently detection of broadband THz radiation with <;10 mW average optical power.
