Dynamic adaptive spectrum defragmentation scheme in elastic optical path networks

We propose two novel adaptive spectrum defragmentation algorithms in elastic optical networks by properly rerouting existing connections based on the evaluation of current network status, and numerical evaluation shown to be resource efficient.
