If you use an IEEE e-mail alias or account (in other words, if you have an e-mail address that ends in @ieee.org), you need to check your IEEE spam-filtering settings now. Sometime in April, the IEEE made a change in its e-mail software. This resulted in the UCE (“unsolicited commercial e-mail”) or spam-filtering settings for most if not all IEEE e-mail accounts being reset to the “default” setting. If you want the default setting, that's fine. However, I find the false-positive rate associated with that setting to be much too high (there are too many legitimate e-mails being sent to me that are identified as spam and removed, without my knowledge). I therefore have UCE/spam filtering turned completely off on my IEEE e-mail alias account. To check on and modify your account's setting, go to https://uce.ieee.org/.
