A class of (d,k) block codes with single error correcting capability

This paper describes a class of (d,k) block codes with minimum Hamming distance d/sub min/=3, i.e., with single error correcting capability. The construction of (d,k) codes with d/sub min/=3 is based upon dklr-sequences and cyclic Hamming codes. The coding rate and the decoding procedure of the constructed codes are also provided.
