Effect of ferrite core attachment to coaxial cable on differential mode noise caused by braided shield current

This paper examines whether the ferrite core attachment to a coaxial cable can be effective in suppressing the differential mode noise induced by a braided shield current. This noise is analyzed by using our equivalent circuit previously derived for the load effect produced by the ferrite core attachment.
