Farewell, Welcome to Our New EIC and Some Thank-You's

The current Editor-in-Chief (EiC) states that she believes it is a good practice to have term limits for EiCs. It ensures that fresh eyes can evaluate the current state of the journal and move it forward. It is now time for me to step down as EiC after three years at a most rewarding job. One of our current Senior Editors, George Karagiannidis, will move up to (EiC) of IEEE Communications Letters as of January 1, 2012.
