On coherent reception of up-link transmitted signals in the DS-CDMA system

A coherent receiver for QPSK-modulated signals where both the in-phase and quadrature components (I/Q) of the transmitted signal are modulated by the same data sequence, is considered. The receiver is analyzed for a memoryless Gaussian multiple access channel.
