His live and work have been reviewed elegantly by Mascarenhas and Sessler [1,2]. Sessler's tribute also contains many references. The books edited by Sessler and Gerhard [3] give many sources to his work as well. Gross has reviewed a lot of his vast research on electrets himself in [4], which is based on a talk at ISE5 organized in honor of his 80
