Theoretical calculation and numerical simulation of spherical lung cancer cells' refractive index

It is one of the keys knowing exactly the refractive index of lung cancer cells under X-ray waves can make X-ray CT images obtained from lung cancer cells information more accurate. This paper uses laser optical tweezers technology to measure the refractive index of optical trap stiffness calculation of spherical lung cancer cells. In a single fiber optical tweezers system, using geometrical optics method to calculate the theory relationship between the optical trap stiffness and the refractive index of spherical lung cancer cells. The result indicates, in the fixed optical tweezers system and under the condition of X-ray waves, optical trap stiffness and spherical lung cancer cells refractive index changing relationship and cubic polynomial curve fits better. It provides the theoretical basis to calculate the refractive index of the spherical lung cancer cells stiffness through the experiment measuring light traps.
