Efficient Gd3+, Lu3+ co-doped KY(WO4)2:Tm3+ channel waveguide lasers

This paper reports on a thulium-based channel waveguide laser with a maximum output power of 149 mW and a record-high slope efficiency of 31.5%, which is a significant improvement in terms of slope efficiency and output power.
