A heuristic strategy for dynamically controlling the time slot access in reservation communication protocols

This paper introduces a heuristic technique for calculating the assignment of the time slots in a reservation protocol for shared broadcast communication channels. The method provides results that are slightly sub-optimal, but that can be determined much faster than the ones produced by an exact allocation policy.
