A rate-dependent magnetostrictive simulation method for silicon-iron sheets under harmonic excitation

We present a representation of non-single valued anisotropic magnetostrictive strain vs flux density based on a rate-dependency law. This model is used in a continuum magnetomechanical simulation method for the vibration of a thin silicon-iron sheet excited magnetically by a sinusoidally alternating flux.
