Inmarsat's new asychronous data services

This paper explains some of the technical issues which arose during the development of the Inmarsat-M and Inmarsat-B data services, and the resultant trade-offs made. Background information on the Inmarsat systems is also given, along with the perspectives from which the services were developed.
