Simultaneous Monitoring of CD, DGD and OSNR from FIR Filter Coefficients in Coherent Receivers

We simultaneously estimate the values of residual CD, DGD and OSNR from FIR filter coefficients in coherent receivers with digital equalization. Precise estimations over a wide range are demonstrated on measured 111Gbit/s CP-QPSK data with off-line processing on a PC.
