Incremental gain analysis of linear systems with bounded controls and its application to the anti-windup problem

This paper presents an approach to estimating the L/sub 2/ incremental gain of piecewise linear systems. Storage functions satisfying a dissipation inequality are used to derive a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to provide a bound. The application of the results to the anti-windup problem is illustrated by examples.
