Electrical safety, cost and the consequences

Ericsson develops total telecommunication solutions for customers in more than 100 countries throughout the word. The ability to handle large amounts of information uninterruptedly via telecom networks requires an assured and reliable power supply system. This applies to all types of networks: public, cellular or private. The Energy Systems Division develops and markets energy systems that meet this requirement. The products come in all sizes, from small chip-mounted power converters of about one watt, to power and climate control units for large installations. Our policy is to see that the products we manufacture for our customer are electrically safe.
