OSEK/VDX-based gateway for car black box

The gateway for car blackbox translates signal from car ECU to other devices. This paper presents a reliable gateway for car blackbox. This gateway transmits car information from the car ECU to the car information analyzing device via OBD-II. We also present operating system based on OSEK/VDX to increase portability, extendibility and reusability of this gateway software. The OSEK/VDX standard operating system specified standardized interfaces and provided the way to implement operating system in structured and modular architecture. In this paper, we proposed OSEK/VDX based gateway for car black box, which is reliable and robust. We then examine the developed gateway system with several trials.
