Determination of the reduced matrix of the piezoelectric, dielectric and elastic material constants for a piezoelectric material with C∞ symmetry

We present a procedure for determining the reduced piezoelectric, dielectric and elastic coefficients for a C
_∞
material, including losses, from a single disk sample. Measurements have been made on a Navy III PZT (Channel 5804) ceramic sample and the reduced matrix of coefficients for this material is presented.
