Edge enhancement using pixel based image fusion

Image fusion produces a single image from a set of input images. In the traditional edge enhancement methods fixed parameters are used, therefore it might success in one image but fail in another one. In this framework, filter template values are applied for selecting the edge value. The threshold value is obtained from the histogram of the input image. In the proposed methods complete information about the edges are extracted and the resultant image has less noise and the smooth border is displayed.
