A study on comparisons of four corner detection algorithms in palmprint identification system

Corner detection is an important research topic in the field of computer vision and pattern recognition. Accurate corner detection plays a vital role in the completion of many computer vision tasks, such as image matching, object recognition, camera calibration and motion analysis, etc. According to the different implementation methods, it described four kinds of corner detection methods in detail, such as multi-scale Harris corner detection algorithm, SUSAN corner detection algorithm, Kitchen corner detection algorithm, based on curvature scale space corner detection algorithm in palmprint identification system, analyzed and summarized each of the different methods, finally it pointed the corner detection technology research direction and development trend.
