Design of fixed order controllers is an open problem which takes controller complexity into account. Different solutions exist in literature for the fixed order controller design problem. Particle swarm optimization has been adopted for optimization of cost function and parameters of the specified controller. To check the success of proposed techniques, resulting controller parameters are evaluated via system simulations. Simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of proposed technique.
