Biological pattern formation with cellular neural networks

The ability of the conventional, simple cellular neural network (CNN) model to form spatial and spatio-temporal patterns has recently been highlighted. This paper continues this investigation, by studying new properties of pattern formation, and their application to modeling of biological pattern forming systems.
