The harmonic signal dominant frequency change on the behavior of chaotic ocillator dynamics in non-Gaussian color noise

This paper addresses the problem of harmonic signal frequency estimates in non-Gaussian color noise, the methods of Melnikov function is introduced to educe out the threshold of chaotic movement of non-linear system. It is found that the chaotic threshold is decided by the value of parameters in the model; the non-Gaussian color noise has no effect on the system's ultimate dynamic behavior when the system is in the chaotic behavior. The tiny change of multi-sine wave frequency will induce the chaotic system behavior great differently; the parameter can be estimated according to this character. We give the methods of single and multiple sinusoidal signal frequency estimates. Numerical results confirm our conclusion that the chaotic oscillator is immune to zero mean square non-Gaussian color noise for signal frequency estimate.
