Design and development of automated monitoring system for reservoir dam

This paper describes the design and development of an automated monitoring system for reservoir dam safety using Xi-Wei reservoir as an example, elaborates its hardware and software solutions, provides its functional framework and the development approaches, and presents its newest performances and the practical values for this system.
