Te NCs shows strong ferromagnetism at room temperature, the saturation magnetization, and magnetic hysteresis loops increase with the content of substituting Mn ions within the Cd
_1-
x
Mn
x
Te NCs. The magnetization of as-milled Cd
₀
.8Mn
₀
.2Te NCs has been much more improved in comparison with that of the bulk counterpart due to the quantum confinement effect.
