Application of dual-heterodyne mixing method to simple dispersion measurement using dispersion compensator

A direct chromatic dispersion measurement with dual-heterodyne mixing method (relative phase detection) is proposed. The sample dispersion can be measured as amount of compensation by monitoring relative phase, which enables direct measurement without wavelength sweeping.
