Problems Faced by Undergraduates Studying Electromagnetics

The problems faced by undergraduate students studying electromagnetic theory have been highlighted. These problems have been found to be associated with the background of the students, the choice of textbook, and the instructor's teaching methods. Several recommendations are made to deal with these problems.
