Experimental analysis of eccentricity in salient-pole synchronous machines. Part I: Prototype design, construction and tests

This paper presents the experimental results from a salient-pole synchronous generator with a relatively large air-gap to study effects and differences between static and dynamic eccentricities. Also in this paper is explained briefly the design and construction of such prototype.
