A design of self-tuning PID controllers based on model performances

The control performance of the self-tuning PID control method which is based on on-line identification is depended on the accuracy of the mathematical model. In this work, the re-identification and the re-tuning of the controller are only carried out when the accuracy of the mathematical model is deteriorated.
