Computation of the generalized inverse of a rational matrix via Maple and applications

N.P. Karampetakis (1995) presented an algorithm for computing the generalized inverse of a singular polynomial matrix A(s)/spl isin/R[s]/sup n/spl times/m/. In this paper, the algorithm has been extended to that of the singular rational matrix, A(s)/spl isin/R(s)/sup n/spl times/m/, and the algorithm has subsequently been implemented in the symbolic computational package Maple.
