Application of adaptive time delay neural network to mitigate instability due to time delays on networked control systems using variable sampling

This paper analyzes a new alternative approach to compensate for the effects of time delays on a dynamic networked control system using one step ahead prediction based on an adaptive time delay neural network or TDNN and the combined application of optimal control and classical pole placement methods.
