The research of load imbalance based on Min-Min in grid

It is a complex and challenging issue to schedule tasks onto the dynamic, heterogeneous and distributed grid environments. Based on the research of existing scheduling algorithms in grid computing, an in-depth analysis of the classical Min-Min was made and it indicated that this algorithm can lead to a bad quality of load balancing. To address this problem, several currently prevailing and effective methods to improve load balance are summarized and compared for further research. This paper strives to discuss them from different aspects and prepares for higher performance algorithm.
