Research on application technology of GIS data in intelligent transportation system (ITS)

The information has been the soul of ITS, the types and characteristics of ITS information (only for geographic information) are deeply analyzed in this paper, ways of obtaining information and the processing and transmission methods of information are explored, information utilization ways and roles based on ITS are proposed.
