A new method of measuring insertion loss for antenna feed network

In this paper, a new method of measuring antenna-feed network insertion loss is presented using standard gain horn method. Principle formula of measuring feed network insertion loss is derived. It is analyzed that effect of mismatched error on insertion loss measurement. At fast, measuring results of insertion loss are given for Ka-band circular polarization feed network, and measuring results accord well with theoretical estimation.
