The measuring investigation of transient temperature states of induction machines

In this paper we present an application of a system for continuous temperature measurement of induction machines coils. As a source of DC voltage we use semiconductors diodes. The measurement is controlled by a PC. As a result of calculation we obtain values of heating and cooling time constants of the machine. Some results of testing medium-power machines are presented.
