Preparing students for electronic portfolio development in ESL class in China: ISD model embedded

Current research about electronic portfolio of ESL class in China stays with the learner's feedback in related to specific English language skills. This paper presents a new perspective as to how and to what extent the teacher guide the student's portfolio construction in ESL class in the first stage. It proposes the ISD model in which the teacher follows the step-by-step instruction in effective instruction of portfolio development in the larger context of various ESL classes in China.
