On a determinant expansion in the theory of two-transistor circuits

It is shown that for any two-transistor circuit, at most one term in a well-known determinant expansion can be negative. This leads to more efficient numerical and theoretical analyses of such circuits, regarding the presence of multiple DC equilibria.<
