Monitoring in a High-Arctic Environment: Some Lessons from MANA

Monitoring terrestrial high-Arctic ecosystems is difficult because of their limited access, extreme weather, and absence of communication infrastructure. A sensor-network-based data acquisition system in Zackenberg, Greenland, addresses these challenges.
