Electromagnetic performance evaluation of synchronous generator with outer permanent magnet rotor considering wind power turbine characteristics

This paper deals with the electromagnetic performance evaluation of synchronous generator with outer PM rotor for small-scale wind power system. The results obtained by analytical techniques are validated by comparison with those by nonlinear finite element method (FEM) and experiments considering wind power turbine characteristics.
