Plant disease detection and diagnosis based on the theory of acoustic holography

Based on the theory of Near field Acoustical Holography (NAH), the mechanism of the plant generating ultrasonic sound resource signal is discussed under the condition of the plant in the condition of disease stress. By the two-dimensional FFT transform to redesign its three-dimensional sound field model, the multifactor synthesis mathematical mechanism model will be established, which describes the relationship among sound resource signal, disease forecast, disease species, pathological changes position, disease degree, transpiration quantity, soil moisture, atmospheric saturation degree, air temperature, illumination and so on. The quantitative relationship between disease degree and plant's physiological state is determined. Both the mathematic model for disease forecast of the primary crops (such as tomato and wheat), and the the simulated model and the optimal control algorithm for automatic pesticide spraying are discussed. As a result, the theory of Acoustical Holography application and research will be expanded in the field of plant physiology and protection of plant. Through experiments and optimal control algorithm, we can exploit a new approach for signal detection of plant physiology and integrated accurate prevention and cure of crop disease.
