Layered Structure of Models in Complex Circuit Virtual Maintenance System

The definition of circuit maintenance is presented, and its characteristics are analyzed in contrast against generic mechanical equipment virtual maintenance. Three different types of models in complex circuit virtual maintenance system are concluded: geometrical model, computing model, and interoperable model. The definitions and construction methods of the models' are introduced respectively. A three-layered model structure consisting of representation layer, function layer and distributed layer is proposed according to the three types of models, and the data flow among the layers are studied. The interoperable model based on base object model (BOM) is put forward, and the main elements of circuit BOM are analyzed. The circuit BOM could be reused and composed in circuit relevant information systems but not just circuit virtual maintenance systems. In the end, a circuit virtual maintenance system is built on the three types of models, which proves the validity of the layered structure.
