Research on Biological Contact Oxidation Process Treating Simulated Ship Sewage

In this paper, pilot-scale test of biological contact oxidation process for simulated ship sewage treatment was carried out. The results showed that under the condition of HRT=3.5h, T=25~30°C, pH=6.8±0.5, and the average concentrations of COD

, SS and NH4+-N in the influent were 597.8mg/L, 371.8mg/L, 369mg/L and 33.52mg/L, respectively, the concentrations of COD

, SS, NH4+-N in the effluent were 90.0mg/L, 38.5mg/L, 59mg/L , 4.66mg/L, and the average removal rates of COD
_Cr
, BOD
₅
, SS, NH4+-N were 85.0%, 89.6%, 83.9% and 86.0%, respectively. The results indicated that biological contact oxidation process had good effect on ship sewage treatment and can meet the needs of practical application.
