An analysis approach for cell loss rate of shared buffer ATM switching

A novel approach is presented for analyzing cell loss rate of shared buffer ATM switching. It provides a new means to solve problems in a more complex queueing system. It is an accurate algorithm compared to conventional methods, employing a one-step transition matrix.
