Design and analysis of all-optical ATM switching elements for high speed networks

Designs two switching elements which are needed to build an all-optical ATM switch. The description and operation of the optical devices used in this design are discussed. Their electrically equivalent models are presented. The simulation results which depict the correct behavior of the designed switching prototypes are presented.
