Decomposition Method for Computing the Reliability of Complex Networks

Criteria for removable lines of complex networks are proved. It is also proved that there are always removable lines in the networks except oriented type III ones. The network reliability is computed by the decomposition method using matrix expressions. Proofs and an algorithm are in a separately available Supplement.
