Leading-edge optoelectronic device production using two-inch technology

InP processing and results achieved on two-inch wafers are reviewed with an emphasis on lasers. High-performance, high-reliability lasers are demonstrated using a "building block" based process. A brief review is given on two-inch OEIC and PIC device work in progress around the world.
