Surveillance scheme using Electronic Code Division Multiple Access based spectral analysis for passive optical networks

We propose and experimentally demonstrate an in-service surveillance scheme for passive optical networks using electronic code division multiple access. We show that this technique can be used to monitor users with minimal penalty for upstream-data.
